Topaz Photos

Sixty years after closing, Topaz still remains as a reminder of what was once the 5th largest city in Utah. Nothing has been done to the site since the land is unsuitable for farming and it is located in the Sevier Desert. The Topaz Museum Board has purchased 520 acres in order to preserve the area for historic and educational purposes.
After the war, Topaz buildings were sold to local residents who used them for storage and even homes.
